R. Kedric Perkins Jr. PGA General Manager - Joining the Jackson Country Club team in August of 2015 Kedric brings over 20 years of Country Club industry experience to Jackson Country Club. Kedric is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BA in Communications (Specifically Public Relations). He is also a member of the CMAA and the PGA of Amercia and one of approximately 115 PGA Professionals that is certified in General Management - Golf Operations - Instruction and Retail. Kedric is the 2017 TN Section Golf Professional of the Year as well as a two time PGA Section Merchandiser of the year (2005 and 2009) and also a National Finalist for the same award (2009). Kedric has also been honored multiple times in the West TN Chapter of the PGA as the 2016 and 2017 Golf Professional of the Year; Professional Development Award Winner 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020; Private Merchandiser of the Year 2018; and Bill Strausbaugh Award in 2020. Kedric served as the co-chairperson for the St. Mary's School Auction/Dinner to benefit the School. Kedric feels his greatest accomplishment in the industry is helping 16 former staff members move on to further and more responsible positions. Michael Hutcherson is a PGA Associate and serves the club as the Assistant Golf Professional. Michael originally from the Jackson area played his college golf career at Bethel University. Michael was voted by his peers as the West TN Chapter Assistant Golf Professional of the Year in 2018. Chris Baggett, Executive Chef - Chef Chris joined the team in July of 2021. A 30 year veteran of the Club industry and food and beverage Chef Chris brings a plethora of culinary experience to the Club and has been instrumental in raising the bar of food offerings at the Club. Michael Hayes originally from London England serves as Tennis Director here at Jackson Country club. Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the tennis program from having the opportunity to work with the same coaches as Federer, Murray and Sampras as well as having played and practiced with former world #1 players Caroline Wozniacki and Victoria Azarenka. Michael played college tennis for the University of Memphis where he earned his Masters degree in Exercise Science. Michael was a top 10 nationally ranked junior, having a career win over a top 10 U18’s player in the world. Michael is a USPTA Elite teaching professional, an ITPA Tennis Performance Specialist and a certified Cardio Tennis Instructor.
Jay Veazey serves as assistant tennis professional and has taught tennis here at JCC for the last 30 years, formerly as the Director. Jay played college tennis for Lambuth reaching the conference finals, in both singles and doubles, as well as being voted player of the year in 1993. Jay has great experience in developing players of all levels, having developed numerous state finalists and college level players, and has been recognized by the USPTA for his years of service.
Dasha Klyuyenko is originally from the Ukraine played #1 for Bethel College tennis team. Dasha is USPTA certified and serves as an assistant with our junior program as well as providing individual lessons.
